We are serious about quality at Micro.

Our goal is to provide quality products and services that are timely and cost-effective. We strive not only to detect problems, but to prevent them from occurring. This philosophy has been an integral part of Micro Industries since our inception. From the beginning of our manufacturing operations in 1980, we have monitored and controlled our manufacturing process. The procedures were formalized in 1984 when we were certified by General Motors for the SPEAR program, which allowed our products to be shipped to GM facilities for on-vehicle applications without incoming test and inspection. This program formed the framework for the procedures we used in 1993 to register our quality program to the ISO 9000 standards.

Micro Industries has maintained its registrations since 1993 to meet the diverse elements of the International Organization for Standardization’s ISO 9000 Quality Management Standard. Registration is through QMI-SAI Global, one of the leading registration groups in North America.

Micro's Eight Quality Management Principles:

In 1989, Micro Industries developed a unique process for complying with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements for a zero-discharge manufacturing facility, which became operational in 1991. The management system of Micro Industries Westerville, Ohio manufacturing facility has been registered to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. Micro Industries leads the industry with its deep commitment to quality and the preservation of the environment, as exemplified by our closed-loop, zero-discharge manufacturing facility and nearly 100 percent recycling of solid waste.
