With the chipset on board, the mTG845’s memory can be widened up to 2 GB of DDR SDRAM.

The mTG845E also incorporates USB 2.0 technology to boost the peripheralto-PC connection speed from 12 Mbps (USB 1.1 performance) to 480 Mbps for a split-second response from DVD and hard drives, scanners, and other external peripherals. The ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON™ 9000 Graphics Controller with industry leading 2D/3D video performance, combined with mTG845’s dual LVDS design make it possible for customers to run two displays at once up to 1280 x 1024 resolution, or a single display up to 2048 x 1536 resolution.

The mTG845E also includes a 10/100 Ethernet controller, 6 USB 2.0 ports, a parallel printer port, AC’97 sound, and expansion capabilities. It complies with Intel EmbeddedATX (EmbATX) compact form factor, making it well suited for space-constrained wall-mount and embedded kiosk applications that need the power of the Intel Pentium 4 processor.
