The mTG855LP is a high performance, low power motherboard that combines the scalability of the Intel® Pentium® M Processor – Low Power and the Intel® 855GME chipset, in an EmbeddedATX (EmbATX) form factor design. This low power motherboard can reduce or eliminate heat problems in highly compact and powerful systems.

Using an innovative caching system, the Intel Pentium M processor retrieves information more efficiently than its mobile predecessors, giving the mTG855LP motherboard the gusto it needs for fast video loads and instant responses in interactive client applications. The Intel 855GME chipset adds integrated high performance 3D graphics capabilities, speeding up graphics retrieval while minimizing power consumption. Lower power usage translates into minimum heat dissipation. Combine that with an EmbATX form factor-based design, and the mTG855LP motherboard is the ideal solution for confined spaces.

Together, the Intel Pentium M processor and Intel 855GME chipset provide exceptional memory speed, offering up to 2 GB of Double Data Rate (DDR) 266/200 SDRAM and a 400 MHz system bus for a high bandwidth connection between the processor and platform. With integrated graphics capabilities, the chipset also provides LVDS, SVGA, and dual Digital Video Out (DVO) interfaces that can be used with independent or dual displays.

The mTG855’s other I/O interfaces include a 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port with Wake-on-LAN, six USB 2.0 ports (four on the I/O panel and two headers onboard), two serial ports, a parallel port, and AC’97 sound. A PCI slot is provided for expansion. Optional items include a CompactFlash connector for data storage or O/S operation, or a dual CardBus socket for wireless LAN networking or the addition of a modem card.
