Touch&Go Checkout Director 17™ is a mini turnkey queueing management solution with digital signage that guides customers through cash wraps and checkout lines quickly, during peak shopping periods. It's a low cost small format Retail Checkout Director that automatically directs or queues shoppers to the next available checkout registers. This extra small solution comes with many different options. When purchased on the stanchion or desktop stand, it can be easily moved from location to location.
The solution consists of a small LCD “master” computer, retail-ready Checkout Assistants and Checkout Director application software. The small format LCD “master” computer can be positioned on a counter, wall mounted or mounted on a free-standing stanchion in the checkout area. Shoppers view the animated numbers of the next available registers for check-out on the screens, while at the same time an audio prompt can be heard that states, for example, “Register 5”, is open.
Directing traffic for faster checkout is a great way to provide better customer service while increasing daily store revenues. No additional labor is needed to personally direct traffic and valuable employee time is not wasted or stagnant while waiting for the next customer to step-up for checkout.
